    Very good

The price was right and the rooms were adequate. The service at the front desk was quite good and helpful, though the desk was understaffed.

Other than the fron desk staff, who were great, the service and staff at the restaurants, etc., were poor. Parking facilities were limited.

very poor service on the food side.dirty hotel

I liked the meals and the proffesionalism of the people at the spa.The swimming pool is great. the service at the beach is good with umbrellas and chairs.

the stinginess of room towels and having shortage of shampoo. this does not befit a 5 star hotel. the cleanliness is not upto par for a five star.

    Superb

The room was quite large and comfortable, although I thought they could clean a little better (throw away empty bottles, etc.). Location on the Dead Sea is great. The food variety and taste were good during the week, but very good on Friday night and Saturday. The private beach that the hotel shuttles you to is very small and the staff person there was not helpful at all. The spa has many services but the personnel are not knowledgable enough about their treatments and could be more professional when servicing you. All in all, very nice hotel and really relaxing.

    Good

Very large hotel. Big rooms. Nice bathrooms. Varied breakfast and dinner buffet. Private beach and shuttle.

Felt very crowded. Living room areas quite insufficient, very dirty and terrible furniture. Reception staff not very nice: impolite, not helpful and not knowledgeable.

    Superb

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The bed was nice, the food was great, and in the afternoon, while we were out, they brought us chocolate cakes and bottles of water to our room. It was such a nice surprise when we came back! We had quite a full schedule planned already, so we didn't take much advantage of the hotels pools or other activities, so I can't say much about them, though they did look nice. We hope to use them when we come back.

We were disappointed by only a few things. One was that they began to clean our room just before we were to check out while we were still at breakfast, and that during that time, my boyfriend's toothbrush went missing. It likely got thrown away, but it's an annoyance that we had to replace it. They should have waited until we were checked out to start cleaning our room in the 1st place. The second thing is that the price of the spa services was outrageous. More than I've paid anywhere else for similar services. It did look nice, though. The third thing was that I found a hair in my mushroom quiche. The rest of the food was great, but that killed a whole meal for me. Ew.

    Fabulous

In its class range, this is a comfortable up market hotel. The food was excellent, the room facilites and cleaniness were up to a high standard. The reception Staff are there to answer your queries in a very pleasant and couteous manner.

We were on the 11th floor. Its a vast hotel with many wings to it. Walking to the lifts from your room could take a few minutes and its an unpleasant experience, each time, as the corridors are sprayed with airfreshners and the odours builds up in a nauseating manner!. Some fresh air would have been nice as the location of the Hotel ,on the shores of the Dead Sea, is just idealic

    Very good

Good location close to the dead sea, private beach with shuttle-service. Very good beds.

    Fabulous

Huge bed, very comfortable. Nice big bathroom. Good location. Nice food.

Up a slight hill so not easily accessible for people who find it hard to walk or older people. Electric carts did seem to be available but not sure how. Hotel entertainment was very basic and in hebrew.

    Superb

The Royal's location is tough to beat--across the street from the Dead Sea. The beach you have access to is nice (not too many stones) and has good showers for the post-float rinse. The hotel also has a very nice/large outdoor pool with nice seating around it for sun bathers. The complimentary breakfast/dinner are buffet-style and are also quite good. I'd definitely stay at the Royal again.

I requested a room with a sea view if possible and received one that looked directly away from the sea into the mountains behind the hotel. Needless to say, I didn't spend more than 5 seconds all weekend on my balcony. Having seen the hotel, it's hard to believe they couldn't find one for me (I booked in advance) with sea views, as the hotel's construction flares out--giving the vast majority of rooms a sea view. Perhaps my status as a single made it difficult to put me in a room with a sea view.

    Fabulous

Really spacious room (superior family room) equipped with all necessary accessories. Friendly hotel staff.

No own beach, no beach beds or chairs at sea coast

The only good this is the Dead Sea near by, the reception is useless, nearly no one speaks english from the personal, than cleaness of the room is questionable, but the worse is Lounge bar food.. We arrived at 3pm , restaurant was closed and we ate at the Bar and oh,My Got, 5 stars hotel.... I would be ashamed if this was the bar at my hotel.... Food at the restaurant is ok, since cooked for thousand people ,- it is a very borring food.... Unfortunately the service is under any critic...

    Superb

    the vip spa

evening meal time too crowded and noisy .families with children should have a seperate setting

    Fabulous

The pool is lovely, the price included dinner and breakfast, this is not mentioned anywhere, only knew about dinner by reading someone else's review. Good hotel, decent food, clean, quiet, but nothing to do after dinner.

The sofa bed in the room did not have any sheets so had to call down for them even though the booking was for 3 people. Our screen door did not lock, the carpet was wet by the screen door. All petty little things that did not spoil our stay
